With a growing number of sites like Trip Advisor making travel more sociable it is easy to get a total understanding of your destination before you go. It is easy to get the latest advice from people who have just returned or from locals who are looking to market their place for tourism!

A great way to decide where to go is to see which place is most happening. Each country has its own set of cultural festivals. These could go from spiritual ones to even sports festivals. From the tomato festival in Spain, or the Elephant festival in India, choosing primarily based on the most happening locations is a good option.
